Orthopaedic Casting Course is offered for Junior Orthopaedic Trainees to master the skills required for application of orthopaedic back-slabs and full casts. The course has been offered accreditation by the Royal College of Surgeons of England for up to 08 CPD points.
This one-day practical course will allow the candidates to demonstrate the principles of cast application, with emphasis on upper and lower limb back-slab and full casts. The course aims to achieve competencies in orthopaedic plastering required by junior orthopaedic trainees to progress to higher level of orthopaedic training.
